Robert W. Doebler, M.D., F.A.C.S., M.B.A.
Dr. Robert Doebler attended Coraopolis High School and earned his undergraduate degree at The Pennsylvania State University. He received his medical degree in 1970 from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Syracuse, New York.
He completed his general surgical and urological surgery training at the United States Naval Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served in the United States Navy Medical Corp for seven years with duty in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Naples, Italy; and Charleston, South Carolina.
He entered the private practice of urology and urologic surgery in 1977, and in 1981, he founded Valley Urological Associates where he continues to serve as managing partner.
Dr. Doebler is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has held numerous elected and appointed medical staff positions at several local hospitals.
Dr. Doebler has authored and published a number of articles in peer-reviewed urology literature and has presented papers at national and international urology meetings.
In addition to his urologic training, Dr. Doebler has continued to pursue other educational opportunities. In 1991, he received a Master's in Business Administration from Robert Morris College. In 1993, he received a Master's in Public Management, awarded with Highest Distinction, from Carnegie Mellon University, and in 2002, he received a Master of Science in Health Care Management from Harvard University.
Dr. Doebler resides in Sewickley with his wife, Paula. They have two grown children.
